WHAT ARE COMMUNITY GROUPS?
Community Groups are small groups of 6-12 people who meet together to offer mutual acceptance, support for one another's goals, and encouragement for life's challenges. You may discuss the Bible, or other books with spiritual focus, to discover truths for their own lives, and to pray for one another. Joining a Community Group entails a commitment to attendance and possible reading assignments if everyone in your group decides upon it. Frequency varies - once, twice or four times a month.
If you sometimes wonder why you're here, would like to know more about prayer, how to read the Bible, or live your faith day to day, a Community Group may be just the place for you. In a Community Group, it's OK to talk about all of these things with others who are on a similar journey. The chances are that in participating in a Life Group, you'll find out who you really are, learn more about who God is, and discover resources that will energize your walk with HIM!
